Al-Anon
Al-Anon is a twelve-step program for people whose lives are affected by the alcoholism of loved ones. The "Just for Today Group" of Al-Anon meets on Mondays, 11:00 AM. Meetings are held in English.
Primary Meeting Location: CEFATI/IPAT Bldg. in Alto Boquete, 2nd floor, terrace.
Alternate Meeting Location: If the CEFATI/IPAT Tourist Information Building is closed for any reason, such as a holiday, the Al-Anon Group meets in the garden area behind the lobby of the Hotel Fundadores which is on the west side of Calle Central a few blocks south of Parque Central. Meeting times remain 11:00 a.m. on Mondays. Latecomers are always welcome.
ReAL Boquete Recycling
ReAL Boquete now has regular weekday hours for drop-off of materials at our location, next to Ana’s Sweets, just behind Bistro Boquete. PLEASE BE SURE TO RINSE OUT THE CONTAINERS BEFORE BRINGING THEM.
Open daily from 10 am to 3 pm, closed for lunch from 12 – 12:30
Please drop off your materials and meet our staff. We accept:
Cardboard
Magazines
Clorox bottles
Aluminum Cans
Clear glass bottles (made in Panama only)
Newspaper
White & Colored Paper
Do NOT bring us the following, as we cannot accept it.
Styrofoam
Tetra Pak (milk and juice containers)
Waxy milk and juice containers
Wine bottles
Egg cartons or similar materials
Envelopes with windows
Tin cans (vegetables and sauces)
Colored glass or foreign brands of wine, liquor or foods
ALL PROCEEDS DONATED TO LOCAL SCHOOLS
